Start with the location
Measure the actual display area and consider how people approach it. A countertop announcement and a window poster have different jobs. Check available mounting space, nearby signs, lighting, and the distance from which the headline needs to be read before choosing a size.
Give the message a clear order
Lead with one useful message, support it with the essential detail, then offer a clear next step. Keep dates, locations, and web addresses easy to find. Test a small paper mockup first, then review the headline at its intended scale. A larger sheet does not need more words.
Match the material to the environment
Paper posters, self adhesive posters, outdoor posters, fabric displays, and rigid boards serve different locations. Confirm indoor or outdoor use, surface compatibility, moisture exposure, and installation requirements with the supplier. A product name alone does not establish suitability for every location.
Plan the display as well as the print
A frame, rail, or stand must match the finished product dimensions and thickness. Check whether hardware is included, whether the artwork is replaceable, and how the installation attaches to the wall. Allow for any part of the design that may be covered by a frame.
Prepare the final artwork after choosing the product
Use the exact supplier template for the selected size and material. Keep high resolution originals and confirm the required bleed and image resolution. The Voqado studio supports paper poster designs and print PDF export. Poster geometry is a planning profile: confirm the exact dimensions, bleed, and color workflow before exporting for production.
