Keep essential copy 0.25 in inside the trim edge. Headlines can bleed for drama.
Three things that matter most.
- Design the top third first. That is what shows above the fold on a crowded board.
- One flyer, one ask. A second call to action halves the first.
- Photographs need 300 PPI at print size. A web image stretched to 8.5 × 11 in will look soft.
