Start with the customer journey
List the moments where someone meets your business: a market table, an appointment, a parcel, or a store counter. Pick print pieces that support those moments instead of buying a little of everything.
Keep a small brand kit
Choose a primary color, an accent, and one or two type styles. Use the same logo treatment across your card, label, and thank you note. Consistency makes separate pieces feel like a system even when their formats are different.
Give each piece a purpose
Your business card helps someone get in touch. A label identifies a product. A postcard invites a next step. A thank you insert can provide care instructions or a useful web address. Keep each message focused and easy to act on.
Prototype before committing
Make a small proof set at actual size. Put the label on a sample package, place the insert in the box, and read the card under normal light. Confirm quantities and unit costs with your supplier before scaling up.
Put the idea into practice.
Make your design, review the artwork, and prepare a useful handoff.
