Postcard cheat sheet.
A postcard is read at arm’s length, often in two seconds. One clear message, one clear next step, and photography that survives the trim.

Keep addresses, QR codes, and calls to action 0.125 in inside the trim edge.
Three things that matter most.
- Leave the address block area calm. Busy backgrounds behind addresses slow the mail and the reader.
- QR codes need quiet space around them. Keep the safe area clear by at least the code’s own width on one side.
- If the card is mailed without an envelope, choose a stock that survives sorting machines.
