Holographic stickers introduce a changing background into a fixed design. Use that contrast deliberately: a bold mark, a short name and a little open space can tell a clearer story than a crowded illustration. Decide where the reflective surface should be visible before preparing the artwork.
Separate the message from the effect
Choose what someone must read first, then keep that element visually simple. Compare a solid lettering treatment with a more open composition. Pale details and fine outlines deserve particular scrutiny against a reflective background. A digital rainbow texture is only a concept illustration; it cannot reproduce the appearance in changing light.
Ask what white actually means
White in an artwork file does not by itself specify printed white ink. Ask whether white ink is available in the chosen format, how it should be supplied, and which areas remain exposed. If you need an opaque region behind a logo, describe that intention explicitly and request confirmation in the proof.
Review a specimen from several angles
Ask whether a representative material sample or printed specimen is available. Look at lettering, color relationships and exposed areas under the lighting where the sticker will be seen. Record what the specimen actually represents: material only, a different design, or your proposed artwork. These are different kinds of evidence.
Hand off an annotated design
Provide the editable artwork plus a visual reference explaining intended reflective and opaque areas. Confirm the cut shape, final dimensions and production file requirements together.
