Printing in Los Angeles: door hangers and neighborhood print, inside the handbill rules
Print for every street from Silver Lake to San Pedro.
Door hangers, postcards, banners and cards, checked by Voqado, printed by vetted U.S. production partners and shipped to your door anywhere in the city.
If your Los Angeles customers live behind front doors, the door hanger is a natural fit. Voqado is an online printing company, a family business since 2020, shipping to every ZIP in the city. We do not have an LA storefront or pickup, so this page covers what a route planner actually needs: the handbill rules in the Los Angeles Municipal Code, the places print cannot go, and a calendar note or two.
Voqado is an online printing company. Voqado designs, checks and ships every order, and the printing is done by vetted U.S. production partners. Orders for Los Angeles are shipped to the address you give us.

A No Advertising sign means skip that door
The Los Angeles Municipal Code bars leaving a handbill on the porch, yard, steps or mailbox of a property posted in a conspicuous place with a No Advertising sign of at least twelve square inches, unless the occupant has given you written permission. Train whoever walks your route to look for the sign before they reach the door, and log the addresses so the next drop skips them too.
A separate section prohibits throwing, placing or attaching any handbill on a vehicle, and presumes that the business named on the handbill is the one that put it there. Another bars posting handbills or signs on sidewalks, curbs, street lamp posts, hydrants, trees, utility poles and street or traffic signs. Posted signs can be removed by the property owner, the Police Department or Public Works, and the person responsible owes an administrative penalty of up to $100 for a first violation in a calendar year, up to $250 for a second and $500 for a third, plus the cost of removal.
Our door hangers come in 3.5 by 8.5 and 4.5 by 11 inches, with a hole and slit that fit standard door handles. Matte and glossy paper suit a short campaign; the plastic option is the one to choose when hangers may sit outside for days. A perforated tear off tab lets a homeowner keep your coupon and recycle the rest.
LA Auto Show season
The LA Auto Show runs November 20 to 29, 2026 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. If you sell to car people, it is a natural moment for retractable banners at indoor displays, a fresh box of business cards, and car door decals on the vehicle you arrive in.
Los Angeles is large enough that a route should start with a ZIP code, not a neighborhood name. Walk the ZIPs where your customers already are, and reach the rest with direct mail postcards that you mail through USPS, postage paid separately. Mailboxes stay off limits to anything without postage under federal law.
Order by dates count back 4 weeks from the event: standard delivery takes up to 18 business days, production included, and faster speeds are offered in the cart where a product has them.

Questions
Printing for Los Angeles, answered
Are door hangers legal in Los Angeles?
Yes, with conditions. The Los Angeles Municipal Code bars leaving handbills at a property posted with a No Advertising sign unless the occupant gave written permission, and bars attaching them to vehicles. This is a summary, not legal advice; the linked sections have the full text.
How long does it take to ship door hangers to Los Angeles?
Standard delivery arrives as soon as 6 business days from your order, production included, counted from when we receive your artwork. The cart shows an arrival date for each item before you pay, worked out from the product and quantity, not from the ZIP.
Can I pick up an order in LA?
No. Voqado is online only, with no Los Angeles location, so orders ship to your address.
Can I put flyers on windshields in Los Angeles?
No. The Municipal Code prohibits throwing, placing or attaching any handbill on a vehicle, and presumes the business named on the handbill put it there. Use direct mail or hand flyers to people instead.
Which door hanger material is best for a long route?
Choose the plastic option if hangers may sit on a door for several days or you are working through a wet spell. Paper is fine for a route you will finish and follow up quickly.
